The accommodations were great! Comfortable beds, well maintained camps, kind staff, and safe rooms. The trek days felt very rushed! We hardly had time to stop and view the beautiful scenery. I understand there's a need to stay on schedule. There was a lot of extra time spent on "ceremony" than necessary. For instance, we spent 1 hour at the summit doing a blessing to mother earth and pictures. Then rushed along the 2nd leg of the trip. Also, the morning of day 4, there was a 20 minute "thank you ceremony" for our chefs. Then we were pushed to get to lunch on time. The last leg of day 2, it was suggested by our guide I ride a horse the remainder of the day. He's the expert, I'm not going to argue with him. But then I was charged $100!! Finally, tips for the services were gathered on the first leg of the trip. This is while the recipients of the tips were riding on the same bus. Not only was it done prior to the services even being rendered but also in front of those we were giving it to. This should've been done in private.

Was a great trip! A bit fast paced but the guides at Salcantay trekking were nice and the trek was awesome. My only complaint is that we didn't do the full trek on day 3 in the jungle, we didn't do the 11 miles only 4.5 because Carlos decided group couldn't do it per Rachel. I trained a lot for this trek and was in the front of the group while having the flu. It was obvious many people didn't train for this trip, which is ridiculous for a trip like this. People were surprised by long days of hiking but it is all spelled out in the itinerary and people should not be allowed to go on a trip like this if they didn't prepare and didn't research what they were signing up for... it's been on my bucket list for 25 years. The ones who trained got punished by those who did not train by having to wait for them several times each day and not getting to enjoy the accommodations because we had to wait many times a day for the slower group to catch up. The group should have been split into two groups since there were 2 guides from Salcantay trekking. Everyone paid for this trip equally but those that trained didn't get to do some of the trek we wanted to on day 3 because of the people who didn't train and we didn't get to enjoy accommodations as much as we could have which isn't right.

Had a great time overall. I would suggest that at the welcome dinner an ice-breaker type game be done to get the group of ladies more close/comfortable with one another, and at the farewell dinner or lunch some type of go around to debrief the trip and close things off. I also suggest that all dietary allergies, restrictions, and preferences be given to the Star Lodge (extension) so that vegetarians have a dinner meal they can eat instead of just eating the potatoes since they weren't aware and only had chicken. I also feel more guidance and support regarding airports and flights would be helpful too.

Gorgeous Location. The boat was well appointed and staff was very attentive. Loved all the stops and visits. Swim stops were amazing with lots of water toys like SUPs, noodles, kayak, etc The group of women were amazing! We enjoyed playing games and laughing in the evening. Plenty of time for downtime or alone time but also lots of options for activities.

Bucket list item checked off! I had the best time ever at India Holi 3.0 this year. The India itinerary is jam packed with incredible experiences and I am so thankful I got to experience this with so many wonderful talented fun women. I learned so much from all the amazing fun activities and am incredibly inspired. I felt so safe and supported by everyone on the trip! India WWE was truly a trip of a lifetime! Wow! Trip hosts Stephanie and Lindsey and Janu Private Tours (local tour group) made this the best experience ever! Raj was our local tour guide and he was exceptional. Raj's knowledge of the sites as well as kindness, generosity, and talents with taking beautiful photographs of us were very much appreciated and will never be forgotten. I also attended Thailand 2025 with Women Who Explore and loved every moment of that first with Stephanie. I honestly didn't know these trips could get better and it really did with India! The bar is set very high with Women Who Explore and the trips exceed my expectations every time! I highly recommend Women Who Explore trips to any woman passionate about travel looking to expand her friendships and community of fellow travelers. The lifelong connections and friendships developed from these trips will truly fill your cup. My soul is satisfied!

The India Holi trip was an absolute blast! The color, culture, energy, architecture, and people were amazing. The local guides were so knowledgeable and helpful. Janu has created an extraordinary itinerary, and Raj was ready to help with even the smallest request. Every activity allowed another glimpse into what makes India an unforgettable place to visit. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who has ever wanted to experience all that India has to offer!
